While Harry Reid is certainly a favorite punching bag for the right, the left isn’t exactly enamored with the guy either. From Politico today:
Liberal talk show host Ed Schultz is attacking Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid for not taking a harder tack with Republicans, calling the Nevada Democrat “ball-less.” Schultz has been a frequent critic of Democratic tactics in recent months, but launched into a full blown tirade on his radio show Wednesday.
“Do you think here in late July of 2010 — after the 2008 election, almost two years — do you think the Democrats can finally get their freaking heads screwed on right and realize that the lefties put you in office to do something,” Schultz asked. “To hell with Republicans. They’re anti-American.”
The irony here is that liberal Reid just attacked liberal Obama last week for being a wuss, and now he’s being attacked by a liberal wuss talk show host for the same thing. I guess the entire center-left of the political spectrum is nothing but a bunch of wusses.
Mr. Reid,
Since my husband is no longer receiving his unemployment because all of our senators are on their fancy and expensive vacation. Can you advise me how I can pay my bills and feed my family. We will soon be losing everything but I am sure by talking to my brother in law who you know John Foster, you really do not care. I cannot not get help for housing, utilities, food etc… from the state of Nevada. As to why, I cannot answer. I have worked everyday of my life since I was 14. I do not expect you to respond to his email or help me because you really do not care about anyone except yourself. But it sure did feel good just to vent. Enjoy your lovely home and your hot meals. I cannot wait for election day!
